This two-day writing workshop teaches participants the differences between business cases and proposals and outlines how to succinctly create both. Participants will learn how to write successful Business Cases and Proposals that:

  • Get the right people to pay attention to it.
  • Deliver understandable messages.
  • Offer convincing arguments.

The first part of the workshop will look at how to create a compelling reason for change by developing a comprehensive business case. Successful business cases are documents that concisely present the benefits of change and develop a complete cost/benefit analysis to assess the financial impacts of the change.

The second part of the workshop focuses on developing proposals. A proposal is primarily a sophisticated sales piece that seeks to define problems or opportunities. It seeks to gain client or management support.
