Overview

Evoke Development was hired to design and facilitate a comprehensive 12-hour management summit for the Sixth District Law Enforcement captains and lieutenants. Some of the learning objectives included:

  • Improving knowledge and application of bank management policies and procedures.
  • Developing and leading effective police officers within the FRS culture.
  • Improving the ability to assimilate officers after Law Enforcement (LE) training.
  • Being more aware of issues that have arisen and learn from these issues.
  • Sharing best practices.
Dr. McClure was selected to create and facilitate a comprehensive management and leadership curriculum for the Bank's Law Enforcement captains and lieutenants. Dr. McClure has far exceeded expectations. Her work is of the highest quality and she has met or exceeded the deadlines for completion of the projects. Additionally, Dr. McClure incorporates creative ideas and suggestions that add value to the products and services she provides.

Results

Prior to the day-and-a-half Management Summit, participants received pre-assignments once a week for six weeks. The pre-assignments contained pre-work that, once completed, ensured everyone had the same base of knowledge when the summit began. The packages contained:

  • "Off the Top of Your Head" Activities
  • List of Reference Materials
  • “Apply What You Know” Activities
  • Journal Topics and Instructions

During the Management Summit, participants were actively engaged in a variety of real-world activities and Senior Bank Officers made guest appearances to discuss their expectations and thoughts around a variety of key issues.
